Today’s weather was insane. Started off with bright sunshine, then an afternoon shower. Around 4 o’clock pm the sky went through some extreme changes. Black clouds, followed by large puffy white clouds. Off to the east appeared this rainbow, which was perfect. The arch was defined, like what you see in a fable. The type of rainbow where you say “I will follow it so I can find that pot of gold.” As I watched the rainbow I realized I have had the pot of gold. I have my daughter and family. I have friends who are important to me. I have a job that is enjoyable. I have my health. I truly have that proverbial “Pot of Gold.” Sometimes the beauty of nature helps us realize our blessings.
